Your Timer on the Lock Screen
Hang, rest, repeat, without unlocking your phone between sets.
Live Activity on iPhone
When an exercise timer is running, it now shows on your lock screen and in the Dynamic Island. You can see the exercise, whether you're working or resting, and the countdown, all at a glance. On Android, the timer runs as a notification showing what's coming next.
Beeps You Can Trust in the Background
If you lock your phone or switch apps mid-set, the countdown and finish beeps still arrive on time. Long interval sessions, like repeaters with a lot of short rests, still announce the final set.
Warm-Up Sets Are Counted Separately
Warm-up sets no longer throw off your set count. One warm-up and three working sets now reads W1, 1/3, 2/3, 3/3 on the timer, on your lock screen, and in the rest previews. The beeps themselves are crisper too, with a distinct sound for the end of a set.
Timer Defaults in Settings
Exercise defaults now live in Settings, under Preferences. Pick your weight and distance units, your default rest between sets and between exercises, whether the timer rolls straight into rest, and how long the count-in is before each set.
